Welcome to the Nanocam Pro Team Katherine O’Shea!
Katherine O’Shea was bitten by the bike bug after watching the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, which inspired her to start racing. She fast tracked her progression in the sport when she was selected to take part in the AIS National Talent Identification (NTID) program Dirt Roads to London. Within 3 years she had progressed from a Sport level rider to a National Series winner, top 25 World Cup finisher and representing Australia at World Championships.
The devastating loss of her Mum to the autoimmune disease Schleroderma at the end of 2009 meant that she struggled with form and disappointing results in 2010. The pain of losing her Mum has subsided but the memories of her remain with Katherine everyday and this has been her true motivator. This motivation has helped Katherine to take out Australian National Championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013 across different disciplines Cross Country, Short Track, Teams and Eliminator.
Katherine is the latest Nanocam Pro Ambassador and can be seen on the weekends riding with the camera it tow. To follow Katherine on her riding journeys click here.
